In many instances, wikis have been introduced to organizations without the support of IT. WikiCrawler is free to users who register at TWIKI.NET. WikiCrawler scans designated networks and reports the type and address of each wiki server discovered. IT managers can then use this information to help optimize the company’s collaboration infrastructure and ensure the data is properly backed up. The software allows the user to define additional wiki types as needed.
